Pre-School

8.45 – 11.45am and 12.15 – 3.15pm

Children can attend Pre-School from their second birthday should there be spaces available and would be funded by parents until the term after their 2nd birthday when they may be entitled to 15 hours funded provision each week. This is means tested. Additional hours, lunchtime, before and after school
sessions can be purchased.

Nursery

8.45 – 11.45am and 12.15 – 3.15pm

Children are eligible for 15 hours funded provision each week from the term after their 3rd birthday, should there be spaces available.

The movement of children from the 2 year old provision to 3 year old provision should normally be the term after their 3rd birthday, however at the discretion of Nursery Lead this may happen straight after their 3-year- old birthday if there are places available and the child is developmentally and emotionally ready
for progression.

Also, at the discretion of the Nursery Lead a child may also be recommended to stay in 2 year old provision for an extended period, where they shall be reassessed before progressing to the 3-year-old provision.

Some children may be entitled to a further 15 hours should parents meet the criteria. Additional hours, lunchtime, before and after school sessions can be
purchased.

Infants

8.55am – 12.00 and 1.00pm – 3.00pm

The Infants are in school for 25 hours 25 minutes excluding lunch hour. 22 hours 40 minutes of this time is designated teaching time and the remainder of the time is taken by collective worship and playtimes.
